despite my alcohol over indulgence and subsequent fall flat on my face out on the sidewalk, i woke up and did some squats today.
its been.. probably 5 months or more since i did them, so i went light:
3 sets of 10 with 135 (no belt, wraps or that sissy pad on the bar).
then hamstrings (i almost typed hamsters but that wouldn't have been right), quads, inner and outer thigh things, and leg presses.
needless to say, its been 30 minutes since i finished my workout and i'm already having trouble walking.
tomorrows not gonna be perty.

good move doing the hamsters after the squats...the other way never feels right.

gotta start with the big things- squats, deadlifts, bench, THEN move to hamsters and other little things.

If you think your legs are feeling sucky now step down into your garage then try to step back up. Just make sure arms are out in front.

actually, stepping up isn't so hard yet- its going down thats the problem when your hammys are sore.
i figure tomorrow i'll just slide down the stairs on my butt and crawl up.
or sleep on the couch.

Hey thats how I used to do it when I was a kid. Fell a few times though.

ok, 2 hours post workout:
i've drank oj and glutamine, and taken tylenol with my protien shake.
my glutes hurt like a rodeo cowbow.
 
Sounds like a massage is in order, I'll be right over.

Maybe its not right, but it would have been interesting...I hear Richard Gere is free right about now.
