Jay Cutler Is Mr Olympia!!!

Gunters conditioning was much better last year then this year. I was kinda disappointed he is a fav or mine though. Maybe all the beer he has to drink for beerfest affected him. ;)

I was shocked he didnt mention Kerry either
I think he was kinda shell shocked
I think you're right, I'm sure he was totally overwhelmed. He handled it well, very classy. I am a much bigger Cutler fan that I used to be. Class act.

I was extremely impressed @ Jays phsyique
to carry that much muscle, as hard and full as he was, and still maintain a tight waistline without distention was awesome
I thought the show was great. the only distended guts were Ronnie, Dennis James, and Gustavo
they rewarded the classic physiques for the first time ina long time with Freeman, Melvin, Darrem, Dexter, and Victor all turning out to be top competitors
I think pro BB is heading for some great gorwth with Iron J @ the helm.

i just watched the video for the first time, and "I" can't believe how tight Jay looked.
Just amazing...............

When Jay and Ron were side my side, it was no contest

Pro bodybuilding is a genetic competition between receptor sites and financial ability to pay for GH and steroids."

and that explains y lardbutts use the same excuse

I think in ways, aas, slin, igf, and i guess mgf now level the field so genetics is not so much a limiting, or constraining factor. BB is a grueling lifestyle and an even more difficult and competitive career, if it was all about drugs, there would be plenty more pros out there.

Too many people assume that these guys prob take 5grams a week. WIth their size it may be true, but how many other people take that much and still look like poop....

Everyone asks these guys "wats the secret?"
Maybe there isnt one, they just happen to work harder, and are more dedicated than the rest. Too many wannnabes out in the real world. These are the same people who disrespect others to add to their overinflated egos.

If u notice both jay, and coleman never said being better than the other, but stated that they wanted to be the best they could be. to hear them say that is quite a humbling experience.

actually I believe the # of pros is fixed, so there wouldn't be more would there? they'd just be bigger.

and I've seen them workout. some of them have controlled systematic defined repetitions and others are just throwing that shit around and who is pro is determined mostly by genetics + diet which is determined by who can afford the best pre-contest dietician and who can actually stick to a diet. being able to afford the roids is a given. the working out part is a joke, total randomness. the only consistency is that they all go to failure for an hour or two per day. we could all do that. many of us do.

IMO the only differentiating factor is consistency day in and day out, sticking to it all. cheat even a little and you'll be kicked out of the pros. in that way it's even harder than other pro sports. it's discipline + genetics, not some sort of working out harder in the gym, lol.

Speakinf of Toney Freeman, I am officially a fan. From everything to how he handled himself at the press conference to how he looked on-stage. I love his physique. He's a tall dude with crazy quad sweep and great lines. He will do very well as a pro. To finish top 10 in the Olympia in his first outing speaks volumes.

Toney is very laid back in person and nothing but quality. He's got that amazign small waist and he doesn't like to get all big & fat off season so you will probably always see him ripped up guest posing way off season.
