I was thinking about this earlier today. I know its wrong to look at young chicks. But honestly is they lowered the age limit to 15 it would be fine with me. Yea I'm a pervert. I know it. What so magical about 18 anyway? How much more mature is an 18 yr old than a 16 yr old. Like someone mentioned earlier on this thread, I have known 16 year olds more mature than 18. If she is 18 and a guy is 35 is that wrong. Sure there is a large age gap, but it seems fewer frown on it because she is "of age".

Age of consent laws would make much more sense if they focused on consent rather than age.

The average age for a girl to have sex is 14.

But if an 18 year old man has sex with a 14 year old girl he can go to jail despite her consenting.

Society needs enemies, sexual predators/deviants to hate. Since homosexuality is now legal other sexual practices have to be illegal and viewed as despicable/deviant.

Unfortunately there is little outrage in our society at sex that happens against consent. Rape, sexually predatory behaviour, harrassment still occur as much as ever, with as little outrage as ever.

If a woman goes out with a man and gets drunk then she was asking to be raped, even if she said no.

But god forbid if a man has consensual sex with a girl that was below 18/17/16/15 whatever the age of consent is in the area, he is automatically a deviant, child-molesting pedophile. And there'll be plenty of people calling for him to "get his ass rammed" in prison - prisoner rape, as disgusting and despicable as it is is somehow acceptable.

That's society for you.

I don't understand how it is that for THOUSANDS of years women were fully capable of being mothers from age 12 onward, but once Christian morals took over, they're not ready to have sex until they're 18.
As soon as society gave the excuse that teenagers weren't mature and able to handle themselves, the teenagers began to fit the mold.

Yes maybe back then we were more like animals!
The difference between 12 and 18 for a girl mentally to handle the situation is enormous.

The difference between a guy 22 & up say to his late 30's is also enormous.

Think about that the next time you are wanting to do that young girl.
