dexter jackson and gunther looked awesome man. i called them before the final 10 came on stage to be in the final 6! 
i think it was pretty close.....either levrone or coleman deserved it. DJ and gunther should have been 3 and 4 for sure though. cormier got the biggest gift ever. lol.

I really thought Ernie Taylor and Art Atwood looked mighty impressive. Flex should have quit while he could still be rembered well. I am truly dissapointed by the political bull shit!!!!!!

Yeah, the standing ovation was awesome. He was really cool about it, definitely seems like a genuine guy. I thought the crowd was going to riot when he got fifth. I hope he comes back next year and places in the top three--6'1 300 lbs, what a monster!!!

thank you wombat, I posted here about like 3 or 4 months ago saying how kamali trained with bob chick at the gym, and king K had no arms what so ever and he has a laughable physique and is a lame bber. Now as for flex, I think he looked great for being natural, and chris cormier he looked great I think, and for nassar yeah the synthol in his shoulders totally distracted from his whole physique, it wasnt natural looking with symmetrical lines, he was big as hell but was just not symmetrical and bodybuilderesque like. I love ronnie coleman, but to be honest........well ronnies muscles and muscle bellies are phenomenal, but I thought gunther was going to shock everyone and win, he looked great, but I think all and all when you pose ronnie chris and kevin next to each other the judging was justified, ronnies whole muscles and physique was sick, his back, legs were like phenomenal, and kevin was huge but his back was not all that great, that is his weak point, and chris cormier, well he is one of the greatest but he just cant beat ronnie, just like all the other dudes......ohh yeah I thought triple H was a great announcer/broadcaster, he really knows bodybuilding, him and mike mazz were great together!

This is my take on it:
Kevin-had the whole package, maybe lacking a bit in size but should have beat Ronnie; Allways a brides maid.
Gunther- looked incredible, once he refines everything he WILL be the next Mr. Olympia
Flex- has the best lines in the business, but lacked in size this year. I guess that’s what you get for coming in “Natural”.
Priest- was the most ripped guy out there, but just not what the judges were looking for.
Ruhl- was huge, but looked like shit
Comier- Looked great, but Kevin looked better.
Ronnie- Huge and cut, BUT I can’t stop looking at that stomach it’s just fucking ridiculous. It takes away from his physique.
King- looked like a pile of shit
Atwood- Looked big and cut and should have placed higher,
although I personally don’t like the shape of his muscles.
Titus- Looked decent, but made an ass of himself when he ripped off his medal after not being called out in the top 10. Fucking baby!
DJames- Looked awesome but just didn’t bring enough to the table this year.
Dexter- Looked fucking ripped and full, he placed exactly where he should have.
Nasser- TIME TO RETIRE!

this was an f'ing joke, from what I could tell Lee was raped and should have placed 3 and Levrone was the winner hands down. I know people will say this is outrageous but 1-5:

I just got in from Vegas and I saw the show from the 5th row and saw it much differently than the judges did.
In my opinion, as good as Levrone looked, it just was not enough to beat Coleman. He did look rather smooth, but once he flexed it was a different story. Coleman`s strong points were Kevins weak ones ( legs, back, front double bi`s ) and it seemed enoug to hold him off.
Now here is where it went wrong. Gunter looked incredible and should have taken the show. Cormier has looked much better and deserved a lower placing. Dexter looked better than I have ever seen him, in a pre-judging comparison with Flex he blew him away. Art Atwood was huge and hard and felt he derseved top 10 over Flex and James. James was a little off, not as hard or full as last year.
My placings in a perfect world;
1. Gunter
2. Coleman
3. Levrone
4. Dexter
5. Priest
6. Cormier
7. Ruhl
8. Burke
9. Flex

Reality hit me as I was sitting ther during pre-judging and I looked at the huge back drop behind the stage. It quite simply read " Joe Weider`s Mr. Olympia ". That put all of the crazy call outs and over looked competitors into perspective for me. As bad as most of us want things to change, this sport is too politcal and subjective to really ever do so. So I take it as it is, enjoy the hell out of it, and go from there.
I have been following the Mr.O since 1991 and i agree with the commentators that 2002 was the best Mr.O ever in terms of the quality of competitors. I wateched 1998 live and that was the most exciting but 2002 truely was 25 champions from all over the world to see who is the best of the best.
An interesting fact was according to the judges scorecards the opinions of the audience and myself were reflected in the later rounds. As time went on Gunter and Kevin were being placed according to what everyone thought they deserved. It could be a sign of times to come in the future.
Here is my evaluation of the line up from watching it on PPV:
Kevin Levrone - Should be the winner this year dur to his overall package. Had really no flaws.
Ronnie Coleman - Great looking and more conditioned from last year but off from his total package look. He should be the winner if he looked like he did in 1998 or 1999 but not this year.
Gunter - Should be 3rd , maybe even 2nd. His wasit is still too thick to be the better then Kevin but definately was the top 3.
Chris Cormier - 4ht or 5th , total package but did not look as good as the previous mentioned.
Dexter Jackson - 4th or 5th , looked amazing for 5'6'' and for a guy that height is the best he will ever do as a pro BBer.
Lee Preist - Same as Dexter.
Flex Wheeler - gift , he is my all time favorite BBer but i have to admit he was off. looked like an amatuer and had he taken at least some pre contest drugs and looked as hard as Flex in 1993 would have been top 6 for sure.
Markus Ruhl - A freak , a monster , a man who has added a 4th dimension to his physique BUT looks like garbage from a symmetry and shape point of view. This is not muscle building...it is BODY building...and this is about the total package including shape and symmetry. Markus is the best at being a freak and being massive but he has no shape or symmtry and that is why he fails to make top 6 year after year.
Orville Burke - off from last year IMO , deserved placing.
Dennis James - deserved better placing IMO. Looked great.
As for the other compeitiors:
Art Atwood - Robbed! should have been top 10. Looked amazing. Has room for improvement but could be another Jay Cutler in a couple of years.
Craig Titus - deserved better placing the Flex Wheeler , top 10 material
King Kamali - Great poser , not a great BBer.
Darrem Charles - great poser , has everying Markus Ruhl is missing....but unfortunatly is missing what Markus Ruhl HAS.
Paco Battista - Another freak off the same assembly line as Markus Ruhl , but looks horrible and has the worst aestetics i have ever seen in a Mr.O competitor. From a pleasing physique point of view he is absolutely grotesque. A BBer horror show.
Bob Chicharillo - Looked great , deserved better placing. could be better.
Ahmad Hadier - Deserved higher placing , top 10 material IMO.
Nasser El Sombaty - Time to retire , looked amazing but didn't put it all together and his embarassing himself.
George Farah - Looked great for someone who lived the life he has , deserved his placing.
Don Youngblood - Amazing for 48 yrs old. Deserved his placing.

I'm not a big fan of Chicerillo (he got some gift placings earlier this year), but he did look very good at the O. He deserved higher (top 10) as did Ahmad Hadiar - a complete package.
