He has been summoned by a Grand Jury, and so have some of his aides. It is going to get ugly and expensive for those guys once he is out of office and can't hide behind his role as a Congressman and won't be able to use govt resources to stall and dodge. I would really like to know what happened to her.

So this is what the american judicial system has come down to, taking accusations at face value to destroy people's lives? last time i checked condit wasn't arrested, charged, brought to trial, convicted or had his case overturned. Hey, he is accountable to his electorate. They know him best, they put him in office. They demanded that he come clean, and he didn't. Now he is paying the price.

Notice how the press made no big rails out of the fact that Paula Poundstone was completely exohnerated of all charges. She does have an alchohol problem which she is getting help for but no one was pounding about saying she wasn't guilty of molesting her kids.

Was she ever accused of molestation? I thought it was child endangerment. I know a lot of folks assumed molestation.

I think it was molestation if I remember correctly. That sucks for her and it's funny, or NOT funny, how really anyone can make that claim about YOU and most people automatically think it is true.

Ah well, I hate her comedy anyway, but she doesn't deserve the reputation she now has.
