Check out The UFC`s web site and you`ll see that they recommend that if you ever want to get into fighting there krav maga is what you should learn as almost everybody knows that style!WWW.UFC.TV

Yeah I have two close friends (brothers) from Isreal both were in the army (hell everyone has to be in the army there, as it should be in the US)
Anyway one of them was in some elite corp like our Seals. He knew Krav Maga , the beauty of kempo and the stopping power of a .45. I wouldn’t screw with the guy and I had 40lbs and 6’’ on him.

I feel its a very effective art,and I was sad to have to stop after a few months of loving it, but Im looking forward to pancration once I get my shit together and start it.
Ill see if I can dig up some sources,but I do agree its foolish to claim any art superior to others, there are always bad schools etc, for krav all I have to say is people think it is the best because it is really popular right now,BJJ had this light a year or so ago and still kinda does

Nir has 23 years of training in Martial Arts and empty-hand combat, he holds black belts and instructor certifications in various systems including: Krav Maga, Jeet Kune Do, Hap Ki Do, Aikido, and W.T.F. Tae Kwon Do. He is an instructor under the Israeli Krav Maga Association, and is the Canadian representative for the I.K.M.A.
Nir is also a certified Use of Force and police tactics instructor through the Atlantic Police Academy and PPCT Management Systems for defensive tactics, pressure point control tactics, handcuffing, impact weapons - expandable and straight baton, weapon retention, O.C. spray, and spontaneous knife defense.
