It is all over the media but after the second test it died down!

Anthrax needs to be tested 3 times for conclusive proof! Two tests first positive, second negative! We shall see if it is real or a hoax!
 
How do we know she wasn't an Arab or a European, or a Asian??Just said she was flying from Israel...Come on now you usually are pretty thorough when you post stuff like this...She might not even be from Israel

Think about it...you could take a flight from Mexico to England and that wouldn't make you a Mexican would it...both articles state that she flew from Israel, didn't say anything to the point that she was from there...

I think what he is saying or maybe not is just because she is isrealie she may not be a jew! This is what I would say! She could be a Isrealie Arab, Christian, or a jew!

As far as having the gas mask almost every Isrealie has one! Again the tests will prove all!

Anthrax is first tested using PCR technology, as a rapid screen. This will give a positive/negative result within 4 hours. If positive if is considered a presumptive positive, due to cross-reactivity with other organisms. It only needs one final test, which is culture the organism out and ID biochemically. The conclusive test is basic microbiology.

If it tested negative for final testing, it was most likely not Bacillus anthracis.

There is a simple explination for this.

The Texas legislature accidently included some revamped fish and game codes in there drafs of terrorist related legislation and made it so that you have a catch and release clause for any terrorist caught under 150 pnds or that can give birth.

if you read the article, you would see it tested negative for anthrax. as for the gas mask, EVERY israeli citizen was issued a gas mask due to fears of sadam hussein lobbing a chem/bio weapon into israel.

And if 3 tests are needed to tell definitively is it's Anthrax, why were only 2 done? 1: positive, 2:negative. Were they afraid #3 would come out positive?

why do you defend israel to such an extreme? I mean if there is a possibility of somthing.. don't you want to at least check it out for yourself before condeming it???

i know this a joke wodin but i pointed out above that this women was not released in texas. it happen at lagaurdia.

why dont you read the other post in this thread, then maybe you will have your explanation of why no third test was needed. or better yet why dont you read up on anthrax testing. jesus, you people crack me up. its as if your questions alone automatically means something is fishy.

Your "United States of Israel" quote shows great ignorance.
The United States does not want Israel involved because of the huge political implications. In the first Gulf War the Israelis were warned by the U.S. that if they got involved that Israeli planes would not be given a "friendly" beacon and would be succeptible to Allied fire. Let us all be grateful that Israel took out Sadam's nuclear reactor 20 years ago and he does have have nuclear capability to use against our forces.

pointing the finger at Israel is not pointing the finger at jews as a whole. That is the misconception that American jews have. They feel that any ill feelings towards Israel means ill feelings toward them. But that is not true. The fact is that Israel is guilty of war crimes against us and against a bunch of others. They have been busted sending spies to our country as well as Israelis busted bringing in attack chemicals such as anthrax.

Flying an airplane into a building is really horrible, but bringing anthrax into this country should be treated the same. But you and a few others choose to defend?? I just do not understand.

If Israel came here to attack us on our soil, would you then take a side against them? But as long as they are only spying and sending over anthrax it is ok.. you will still defend them?

Better yet...............what if that story of the Israeli woman with the white powder and gas mask had been a story about a Middle Easterner in the same circumstance...........whether the white powder was deemed to be Anthrax or not, I can guarantee you the outcome would not have been the guy getting on his plane and continuing on to Texas as if nothing had happened.

No, the Israeli planes would be succeptible to "unintentional" freindly fire as coalition forces would have a hard time distinguishing them from enemy aircraft due to lack of "friendly" beacon. I would not expect the U.S. to fire intentionally fire on Israeli planes. I hope this clears thing up. Thank You

I apologize for calling you "ignorant". I will not lower myself to petty name calling,laughing, etc like other members on an internet fitness chat board. You are welcome to whatever opinion you like. I am just trying to inform you of why the Israelis are not fighting alongside coalition troops. I have read the homepage next to your name. Although I can argue with the fact that the Israelis might have fired on the U.S. I cannot understand the motive. Why would Israel (In 1967) want to alienate itself from the U.S.?
