IS this board becoming a literature contest?

That's like asking to prove the sky is blue. It's beyond debate.

Just like most of your other opinions too huh?

Here matt, you are wrong.. its not beyond debate, or else EXPERTS on social science (are you an expert on social sciences matt??? if so what are your credentials?) would not be debating it...

"Since the late 1950s an entire school of research has devoted itself to explaining economic outcomes. The 1972 book Inequality by Christopher Jencks and his associates is a well-known example of such studies… These researchers have typically found that conventional measures of intelligence… are correlated with important outcomes, especially education and earnings. But the effects are not large… This extensive and well-known research literature made us very skeptical of the claims that were emanating from press coverage of The Bell Curve. Years of accumulated research, not ideology, lies behind the academic community's chilly reception of The Bell Curve. On close examination of the book itself, our skepticism turned out to be well-founded." (3)

3. Fischer, pp. 71-2.

Check out the rest of this site before you respond.. I fucking hate how you always feel your opinion is fact.. you do it all the time.

You wouldn't have to include it. They'd find it....was my point.

134 is statistically at the high end by a mile. Average is 100. Ford is pretty backward too. What cars do they make that you REALLY want?

Hey Matt, another little factoid for you... Sometimes your opinions are wrong.. so could you please quit insisting they are fact... thats all I ask.

"DEARBORN, MI, January 3, 2002 - For the 25th year in a row, the Ford F-Series is the best-selling truck in America. U.S. customers purchased or leased 911,597 Ford F-Series trucks in 2001, establishing a new industry truck sales record. The F-Series also is the best-selling vehicle in America having more than doubled the sales of the best selling passenger car. F-Series has been the best -selling vehicle in America for 20 years in a row."

MATT--

How would a corporation find your IQ if you had never told anyone?

What if you have never even taken a test? How then would they find it?

Please shake your All knowing magic 8 ball and respond when your busy schedule allows.

addickt.. i hope you're not talking about me with this thread.. and the way i pick others faults in grammar and diction and logic as a means of judging their mental capabilities.. because.. i really do think that one can be judged by what he writes.. not so much by taking into account infrequent spelling errors, verbage, shorthand, deliberate use of poor grammar on each and every post.. but it is possible to look at a grouping of one's posts and between the continued use of undeliberate poor sentence structure, numerous undeliberate misspellings, and of course taking the logic behind their posts into account.. it is possible to judge their mental capacity..

nugga..

matt.. i really don't think that they're going to be discovering mensa as part of a background check.. and ford is making a great turnaround with the new ceo bill ford in place..

i too took the mensa test for the same reasons.. to put on a resume for one.. as at first glance.. the majority of the population would not look at a physically fit, attractive male as being intelligent.. and without being handed the opportunity to perform or demonstrate my intelligence.. besides the interview.. then i'd like to have a way of showing that there's more to me than breathtaking good looks and and a nice butt... lol

nordstrom.. regarding that one thread... thx............. FOR NOTHING.... lol

Decem... dont worry about Matt.. Truth of the matter is, if you dont agree with him you are wrong... because his opinion is always FACT.
