Is this an Abcess? I need help!!!!!

I have had some tailbone bruising for the past week or so, and that is all I thought it was untill now. I had swelling (yesterday) real bad and it hurt real bad (could barely sit down). I took some ibprofen and later in the day it got much better, and even better today. Thing is though I have felt sick last night/ this morning. No real fever yet just really bad body aches. My girlfriend was sick all weekend though (and we kissed a lot). But I know getting sick is a telltale sign you have an abcess. The weird thing is that my lower vertabrae is all sore and on the left of my tailbone is swollen (not red). So that is why I don't think it is an abcess cause it is in such a weird place. I really dont inject in that area. I mean I may have but its doubtfull. I am very unsure of what to do because I don't understand why it got worse yesterday only thing I can think of is doing deep squats the day before.

Please help me try and figure out if it is an abcess or not.

If you're not injecting there and its not red, it's not an abscess.

Random tailbone brusing would probably aggrivate me enough to go see my primary care doc though.
