For us AAS users, is there anything that REALLY works at increasing HDL?

I was told that there are many supps that do increase HDL, but that when one is a AAS user, no supp will help to increase HDL.

Cholesterol is a type of fat found in your body. Your total cholesterol includes LDL (low-density lipoprotein) and HDL (high-density lipoprotein) cholesterol.

LDL is called “bad” cholesterol because it can build up in the walls of your arteries and form plaque. Plaque build-up in the arteries can reduce blood flow and increase your risk of heart disease.

Theres a product out called "Lipid Stabil" that will lower cholorestrol ,however i have not done any blood tests to confirm this, I will know as i'm due for a complete Physical and Bloods. Dec 11th.

It this produce works "great" but others If diet and exercise are not enough to lower your cholesterol, ask your doctor if ZETIA will make a difference.

My cholesterol levels are fine. My HDL is a tad low and I would like to increase those levels.

I don't have insurance nor do I have a doctor. I'm just looking for something OTC; a supplement if there is one that actually WORKS.

do you take much in the way of fish, flax, krill, olive, grapeseed, etc. oils?

Hey good bro! Haven't heard from you in a while. Yes, I take in fish oil, inject grapeseed, and eat walnuts/pb.

But is this really going to do anything for a juicehead? Lol

I don't understand why you think diet and supps won't affect HDL while on cycle?

I'm assuming that the use of gear lowering HDL is so powerful, that using anything to increase HDL simply won't help much.

Last time I checked my HDL it was at 25. I was told to take fish oil (which I was already using at the time). I then increased the fish oil to 3 times a day for a total of 10grams. My HDL only went up by 3 points.

Not enough. You have to add an oil source that's more than a few pills. Olive oil on EVERYTHING!

I have multiple blood test results to show what lipid stabil does to decrease LDL, total cholesterol and triglycerides. I dont really think it raises HDL though.

add olive oil to shakes (not post w/o shake), extra fish or krill oil (good quality oils with high EPA, DHA content), cook all your foods with grapeseed oil. Just use a lot of it and get high quality stuff.

Make sure you're getting plenty of fiber (fruits, veggies, oats, psyllium supplement). If you smoke, stop. If you are eating any kind of pre-packaged foods check labels for trans-fats or partially hydrogenated oils and cut that stuff out.

From there, if things don't improve, your doctor will probably have drug suggestions like prescription niacin, prescription fish oil, and possibly a statin, though those are better at decreasing LDL not really for raising HDL.
