Is there anyone that is truly free of prejudice?

As everyone attacks me for my views on gays and AIDS, I started wondering how many of you are completely free of prejudice yourselves. I see negative posts about black people, Jews, Southerners, Northerners, Canadians, Europeans, Australians etc.... all the time on this board.

How many of you that slammed me for my views can honestly say that you've never felt any prejudice in your life? I doubt very few (if any) of you can honestly say you've never hated before. If you can't say that you've never felt a bit of prejudice then you can't fault me for hating either.

but i dont start insulting french people on sight, whatever my preconceptions of them. i also dont bash a whole group of people for one persons mistakes. the fact that u were saying stuff that wasnt purely directed at the guy u were annoyed at but everyone that happene to be gay was what personally annoyed me, and always annoys me. its exactly like a guy who has had a bad experience with someone else and then hates all of his kind as a result

i also think dropping the subject is a good idea. u have made ur point, everyone else made theirs. if u are getting annoyed that May is constantly on your ass stick him on ignore, thats what its there for.

a lot of people over here do. theyve done a lot of stuff to warrant it though, they sunk rainbow warrior, tested nukes in someone elses ocean years after tests had been done to death and sold exocets to argentina when we were at war with them, costing us 3 ships and sod knows how many lives. but thats just their nations history. dont hate any personally.

MMM, The french have issues just like all countries, but I do remember them helping out the USA during the American Revolution.

I have alot of french in my family and frankly like anyone else there is always good people and assholes in every group.

in the war britain entered specifically due to the alliance between britain and france. iot joined to help its ally. Frnace then surrended, didnt even bother to try and fight. its navy, well they just scuttled their ships rather than give em to britain, hell we needed them after WW1! true the free french army sprung up, but was that more to do with de Gauls power aspirations. and they were the ones that CONSTANTLY strained the alliance of US and UK.

plus we were their allies. U therefore do not freely give hugely effective ANTI SHIP mislles capable of burning aluminium to our enemies, especially if their airforce is the shit, and our navy is kinda underfunded. but i just dislike their history, not the people. i dislike loads of nations histories mine included.

I am not prejudice against anyone, just the entire human race. Just kidding, but as we have moved into this new century, I hope it is dying away.

The world is getting smaller each day, and in reality it is because of the population problem. That puts strains between nations because of finite resources, and this leads to issues that can drive predjudice into the main
stream of the global situation, who has food, who has energy, what is the cost? Who can afford it, and who cannot, then it becomes a liability situation for the world. At that point, predjudice cannot be far behind.

I don't know how we will ever be free of it, because of the economics of the world, but unless we are financially equal, predjudice will always raise it ugly head.

btw, I saw a memo floating around where I work at that we're trying to recruit more gay people (by putting employment ads in gay publications) because we work hard, and hardly ever call in sick. Straight married people were always taking off of work because of their children's problems.

i have lots of prejudice. my grandpa had tons more, he was awesome. my grandma doesnt seem to have any but i bet she wouldnt be comfortable if a black dude came knocking on her door. id say everyone has it in some way. i think its justified.

Hey bro, my grandparents are the same way, my grandfather is a racist bastard, and my grandmother could careless...lol My gf is Columbian, and I can't even introduce her to my grandfather, because she is really dark skinned and he would instantly say something stupid.. Hell my brother's bestfriend is Jewish and right in front of the kid at my brother's graduation party he says to the kid that the best Jew is a dead Jew.... I on the other hand have some predjudices, but they only come out when I'm at the point of being extremely pissed off, and that doesn't happen all too often...

Seriously, yes I have prejudices, too. But they are more against other people's intelligence (or lack of it) then against their gender, race, nationality or sexual preference...

I'm not in the porn business any more (not since I was 19) .. I'm 30 now, I work for Cisco Systems, and HR has problems finding ANYONE qualified .. and with the recent turn down in the stock they are trying to cut down on absenteeism.

Of course Cisco is one of those wierd companies that offer domestic partner benefits. I'm sure you all dissapprove of such things.

Prejudice

I myself do not have a hatefull bone in my body..

I try not to discriminate as much as possible although sometimes my background seems to get the best of me and I forget.

What does anger me though is that I have a friend who is a Nazi, I grew up with him my whole life we have been through everything together. Somewhere down the path in our lies we took different routes..

I cant stand when people criticize my friendship with him. They sit there and they say how can you hang out with someone like that..

That in my opinion is prejudice as well. It works both ways. My friend is my friend and ity will always be that way, it doesnt matter what he does.. This world is not 2 dimensional there are many sides and stories to everything. You cant just pick a side to view life from and think that it is the RIGHT way.

People foget there has to be conflicrt in this world that is the only way to better ourselves. Im not racist, nor do I judge anyone because I am farrrrr from perfect. But to say that my way of looking at life is the right way? No that is my view of life. Without conflictr everyone would look at life the same way there would never be any progress!!!

What would happen if you were with your friend the so called "nazi" and he got into a confrontation and seriously hurt someone, or killed someone?In most states you would becaome an accessory so now your in trouble and you may not have done a thing?I know it is you good friend but when do you say to yourself that you can no longer hang out with him or her as a result of what they are involved in or beleive in for that matter?I am just curious and am not bashing you but want to know what you think about that.

Hes also 6'7 310 pounds not alot of people are too anxious to disagree with him..

And he is also one of the most calmest people, he does not fight.
