I know this may be a dumb question, but hear me out.....
Before I started weight training (with knowledge to build muscle), which was about 3 years ago, I never had an inch of cellulite on my body. In 2002 I did really well on Body for LIFE and started gaining some lean muscle - great. The following year, I did yet another challenge and really, really, really started seing a lot of definition. Since say mid 2004, I had been training on and off and eating like shit (if I do say so myself) and of course, put on a lot of fat and lost my hard earned muscle. The only thing is that I also started to notice quite a bit of orange peel popping up on my whole body! I have since started my training and eating as clean as possible for the past couple of months, after seing the cellulite slowly develop on my calves area was the major turning point.
Alas, the cellulite is coming off now (thank goodness), but I am convinced there is a link between bodybuilders and cellulite. I for one do not consider myself a bodybuilder at all, but I am just still convinced that muscle loss has something to do with cellulite or the 'enhancement' of it ....
