I just want to make the EB soluble in something(H2O) that TP is not, so it can be washed away.

I know somebody who makes this thing called a 'sep kit' which removes ALL estradiol.

And yes, it's been Mp'd and comes out clean.

Suppose you've got 4gms of recrystalized powder, you put it into solution, and slowly recrystalize 2gm out. Would this be pure TP? I'd be happy with 50% yield if it were pure TP, and then strip the esters and make TNE out of the rest.

If you have a mixture you need separate, you need to find a solution which prefers one chem over the other.

Simply recrystallizing from a solvent in which both chems are soluble won't do it.

If you were using ether it would crystallize out E first, but that method generally isn't used because it doesn't work as well as advertised.

Now, crystallizing out with water in which the right type of E is soluble could be an entirely better experiment.
