Is Phenteramine a good appetite suppressant

When i cut calories down to 2400 or so a day i start being obsessed with food. but the weight loss i experience at 2400 is alot better than the loss i get at 3000 a day (i have no negative experiences on 3000) a day.

Is phenteramine a good drug to let me live on 2400 kcal a day w/o having chronic hunger and food obsession? what other drug(s) might work? meridia? Ephedrine Hcl?

works for me with the 37.5 tabs......one a day cuts my appetite to teh point where I can live without eating.lol..........Effects wear off pretty fast for me, about 5 days, but it continues to suppress appetite to a degree.

Thanks man.

Does anyone else have experience? What bothers me the most is the obsession with food i develop. Its not nearly as bad as what i read concentration camp survivors describe, but its the same thing. Food becomes your focus point and its not a healthy mindset to have. A drug that prevents this is mainly what i want.

An appetite suppressant is good but if i had the choice between being food obsessed and feeling full and feeling a little hungry but not obsessiong about food i'd take the latter in a second. A drug that deals with that is what i'm looking for.

But like i said this only happens when i cut to 2400 or so. At 3000 kcal a day i dont get that, but i only lose about 1 lb of fat a week on 3000 kcal also.

From reading your post it seems your problem is not appetite per se but rather craving supression that is brain chemically related. I guess phentermine could help in that department

Yeah exactly.

However its not just the obsession. on 2500 kcal a day i get lethargic. I can't really do a full workout because i'm too tired. So i'm thinking cutting to 2500 is a bad idea. but im afraid that at 3000 im not going to lose much weight, which is kinda irrational since its only a 2500-3500 kcal a week difference (I eat maintenance 1-2x a week).

Maybe instead of cutting calories by 500 a day to 2500 i should stay at 3000 and increase expendature by maybe 300 a day on top of my current cardio and see if that works instead. 300 a day is only 30 minutes of walking at 3.5 mph at my weight.
