Is Pearl Jam really U2?

Or vice versa. Weird thing happened to me driving to work this morning. Had the new pearl jam cd in and for a few seconds I thought I was listening to U2. Listen to the first rifts of Vertigo then World Wide Suicide. PJ sounds different, good, but different. Maybe they are using similar equipment now and the sound comes out that way. Maybe I was just daydreaming and am really an idiot. Anyone else with an opinion on this?
