Is Mossberg a good brand of shotguns??

Swapping barrels out.
Trigger spring mods.

When at my father-in-law's place, using his tools I've dovetailed some novak sites.

I've helped my father-in-law build the top half of a CAR-15.

But I didn't do much of the real work.

One summer I'm going to sit down with him and have him walk me through it, do it on my own kinda.

Code, Cool! TC2 you do not have a slug barrel,Also one more piece of advice, Get to know your weapon inside and out, learn to take it apart and all there is to know, Your 9mm would of never jammed if you would of had it cleaned! AAA

How can you tell if a barrel is a slug barrel or not??? Will it say it on there??
And I think that the 9mm jammed because of lack of being oiled properly, I hadn't used it in a long time. But I keep my guns clean and oiled well now.

As far as your glock jamming do the following:

Check the slide spring and the shaft inside the spring. Most of the jams I see (aside from just poorly reloaded ammo) come from the shaft being snapped.

With a snapped shaft, the gun will still operate, but will jam every 10 shots or so.

What model is it?

I have a 26. I also have a 19, but it's my least favorite gun. So I never use it. :(

TC2 you dont want a slug barrel anyway, unless you are going to hunt with it! For home protection only you have the right barrel!
