Did no one read my post regarding the FL Castle Doctrine ?
In your house ? Dead unless they run like hell outa there fast.

Post up the link.

Most states that allow concealed carry have some laws for the use of deadly force that sound like this:

The assailant must be within 21 feet of you and be in possesion of a deadly weapon. {If you have reason to believe he is trained in martial arts no weapon is needed}

You must give ample warning to the assailant if possible. i.e. "I am armed and will shoot if you come any closer."

As a side note: if this happens and the police arrive. Be fully prepared to be treated like the assailant. Plan on sitting in jail until things are sorted out. Put your gun down, and do everything the police tell you to do.

Plan on telling the story hundreds of times. Plan on being asked to write out a timeline of the events many times.

I got a chance to shoot the 12 ga pistol grip the other day, it kicks pretty good but not uncontrolable. :bigbuck:

I think its going to be a pretty good gun to have for home protection, I still like my glock better though.

Don't use 3" Magnum Loads IMO because the extra recoil is not
good at 2 am. Designed to give extra altitude for High Ducks.

As for a pistol, Imagine hitting a moving target in the dark at 2 am with a pistol.

At least a Shotgun will give you a 6 inch or so spread for better hit assurance

I see what your saying but, its only a 3 shot(4 if I take the plug out). I know its hard to fathom, but what IF I miss(highly unlikely) I'd really hate to go up against someone with a semi-automatic pistol with 18 shots.

Mayby its just me but I think I perfer my glock just for the amount of rounds I can fire if I need to. Plus with the shotgun there's a greater chance that I could hit a family member with the spray.

Also if there are multiple intruders I'm fucked with only 3 or 4 shots.(If I was to miss acouple of times for what ever reason)

The spray will be far less likely to hit a family member than a round from your glock.

It would have to go through at least 4 pieces of sheetrock.

I mean like from the sides of the gun, not through walls. You never know what could happen in the heat of the moment.

If the shotgun held more rounds then I would feel more comfortable with using it as my primary gun.
