Is it true you can purify an Oil based substance by putting it in the oven?

read this a couple times... not sure if its true coz i have a opened sustanon 250 vial, with a bandaid over it but im scared if its contaminated now :S coz i couldnt use it when i opened due to wrong syringe *sighs*

When you say vial do you mean an ampule? Like did you wrap a bandaid around the top to open it? If thats the case you will be fine. I usually put my gear in the oven to bake off some of the benz alcohol so that it doesn't hurt as much

well not exactly i popped the ampule, and stuck the sterile syringe in there trying to suck it up but it was the wrong type ..

so i stuck a clean bandaid on the top to close it its been a while now my guts say chuck it but if u can heat it and purify it i wanna do it, or thats 1ml gone

Its only 1mL, so better be safe than sorry. if it was multiple mLs, you could maybe consider a .22µm syringe filter.
