is it possible for me to have abs and gain muscle at the same time?

of course to gain weight i put on a bit of fat at the same time, i know that.

but i think that its possible to stay quite tight around the midsection even if u gain, if u watch your cal intake.

the thing is, im right now try to cut a few lbs. im weighting around 87 kg, my diet is 2800 cals a day.

50% protein 30% carbs 20 % fat.
im not fat, i can see a "4 pack" when i flex my abs, but dont know my bf.

yesterday i maybe ate 3000 cals, had a tablesponn peautbutter.
but when i weighted me this moring i had gone up 0,3 kg! wtf.

do i have the worst genetics ever to burn fat and stay that way, even on a cutting diet or what?

i thought i had good genetics, hate this.
 
Stop being hysterical.

You wouldn't gain 0.3kg of fat in day unless you consumed 2800 cals above mainteance.

Weight fluctations are normal and daily ones mean nothing.
 
of course it's possible to have abs and gain muscle at the same time, but dont expect to be 6% bodyfat and expect to gain alot. i think as long as you eat 6 times a day and you eat clean foods, you will have good definition in abs and gain a solid pound or 2 of muscle every 5-6 weeks. im eating over 3000 calories and i think i have pretty good abs, nothing compared to when im cutting, but it's clearly visible, you know.
