Is Hushmail and EliteFitness.com Email Safe?

yep, you have to cover your tracks, and if they really want you, they'll get you. just be smart, use a proxy, or a public computer without video surveillance. jus my 2

There are tons of WiFi hot spots everywhere now. I just hop on those with my Blackberry and I'm totally anon.

I got this msg:

At least one recipient has not registered to receive encrypted email. To send email to these recipients, you must uncheck the "Encrypt Message" option.

When I tried to send an e-mail to:

[email protected]

EXACTLY! Now, we're actually talking untraceable, because by the time you know where he's at, he's gone.

Probably because it is a public mailbox used by the company i.e. internal company shared box as many companies have so it is no reliant on one person.

No matter what the reason not sure what the relevance is as some people do not want or require to have all their correspondence encrypted. Now if you were mailing your source and that message came up i would certainly ensure that they used an encrypted communication method as you want that to remain private (well as private as you can)

But wouldn't your blackberry email leave a trace? As [email protected] would trace the email back to the subscriber of the blackberry.

I think he's talking about web surfing. And that'd be like hopping on with a laptop. Then, if you had to use e-mail, you'd do it from a web client.

I dropped my hushmail account. Seems the best thing to do is to get an email account in a country that doesn't honor the MLA treaty (that is the legal way they got the stuff to start with). Singapore and Malaysia come to mind.
