Is gyno surgery routine?

I have a few questions about gyno surgery.

I have a very, very mild case of gyno. I've lived with it since puberty, but I'm ready to do something about it.

1) I need to find the cheapest price I can get. I've heard you can find docs who will do it for as little as $2500

Is gyno surgery (with a person with mild gyno) fairly routine? I mean, are there really that many complications that can happen that would warrant my finding an experienced doc?

Second, can they do it with a local anesthetic, and would this cut down on cost?

You live in the states? Do you have insurance? It should be covered by insurance. It falls under the breast cancer act of 1998. Your doc should know how to right it up. As long as sample is sent in for testing(which the doc will do) it should be covered. It can be done with local anesthetic, or you can be put to sleep.. Cheapest is not always best either.. Doc should be experienced in this procedure. You dont want a hack job cutting away at your nipples. Id research 2 or 3 docs in your area, and go with the one you feel most comfortable..

NO BRO!!!!! DON'T EVEN LOOK AT IT WITH THAT IDEA OF GOING CHEAP!!!! I MADE THAT MISTAKE AND ENDED UP BEING BUTCHERED. THE SURGEON LIPOSUCTIONED MY ENTIRE CHEST. HE TOOK OUT MORE ON ONE SIDE THAN THE OTHER. WHEN I TIGHTEN MY PECS IT LOOKS LIKE I HAVE NO LOWER CHEST!!!! IT'S ALL FLAT. NOW I'M GOING TO REQUIRE A SECOND SURGERY TO CORRECT THIS. THEY ARE PROBABLY GOING TO HAVE TO TAKE FAT FROM ONE PART OF MY BODY AND INJECT IT INTO THE VOID SPACE CREATED BY THE OVER AGRESSIVE LIPOSUCTION. I WAS LIKE YOU. I SIMPLY NEEDED A SMALL AMOUNT REMOVED. PROBABLY 25 CCs OF TISSUE ON EACH SIDE. INSTEAD THE SURGEON TOOK OUT 250 CCs ON EACH SIDE. MAKE SURE TO GET A GOOD SURGEON AND EMPHASIZE TO HIM THAT YOU ONLY WANT A SMALL AMOUNT REMOVED. YES, I AM SHOUTING AT YOU WITH THE CAPS BECAUSE I DON'T WANT ANOTHER BRO TO GO THROUGH WHAT I'M GOING THROUGH. HAVING ANOTHER OPERATION TO FIX THE FIRST ONE ISN'T CHEAP. MOST COSMETIC SURGEONS WILL DO GYNO REMOVAL BUT FEW SPECIALIZE IN IT. IF I HAD TO DO IT OVER I WOULD HAVE TRAVELLED TO HAVE THE FIRST OPERATION. NOW I'M STUCK HAVING TO TRAVEL TO FIX THE HORRIBLE JOB THAT THE FIRST SURGEON DID. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE.
