So tonight I'm out at a buddy's birthday party at a club and I'm sober so I get to overhear a lot of conversations that people probably didn't realize I heard.

The birthday boy was telling his buddy's girlfriend that his current girlfriend (who was there) was just a "new thing" and "we're not that serious" and making it obvious that they should get together sometime. She responds in kind about her boyfriend - who is a friend of the guy trying to pick her up.

Then when we hit the dance floor the birthday boys' girlfriend is grinding on me and when I'm leaving slips me her phone number telling me to call her sometime.

I mean, WTF? Does anyone actually not cheat anymore? Or is this all in the name of "trading up?". There aren't young kids either, these are people in their late 20's and early 30's.

The other thing was it seemed like if I told girls I had a girlfriend they were simply more interested. Telling girls about what I had planned for our three year anniversary was making all of their panties damp.
