Is 20 to young for gear?

How does start juice at too early of an age limit your potential?
Seems like you would just max out your natural genetic potential faster..

I understand that you could stunt your growth, assuming you used aromatizing steroids of course... but other than that, could someone explain it to me?

It is really more to do with learning the dedication and how to maximize your bodies potential FIRST in order to make good gains when you DO come off...

Guys who jump on too soon tend to use gear as a crutch for years to make up for their poor diet and/or training habits :o (habits they didnt give themselves enough time to learn before going the next step :o)

my logic may have been backwards (for my situation), but it did me a good favor... before my first cycle (age 19) i had trained pretty hard for 3 years, and i ate okay. i went from 135 - 178. roughly the same bf%

now, my training and diet could have been way better, and i wasn't anywhere near my natural potential, but i figured that if im sticking a needle in my ass, i better pull up my slacks and get too work. and i did.

my diet kicked ass, and so did my training. backwards maybe, but i don't regret it.

this is only for people that are going to try to take AAS.
You people that are using it I respect that but imagin a bodybuilders with perportioned bodys unlike most bodybuilders.

The alarming incidence of steroid abuse among lifters and athletes does not surprise me one bit in this day and age. The attitude of getting everything at once without putting in any effort is very prevalent in today's society.

I can't stand this attitude. Everybody wants to be rich, but there are few who are willing to work hard enough to earn the money. There are so many people who whine about their job, but they don't have the balls to do something about it - whether it be saving money to go back to school, working overtime to earn a promotion, or trying something new altogether. Instead people buy lottery tickets and take trips to Atlantic City, or sit at a bar and talk about what they SHOULD have done. Everybody wants to be thin, but again nobody has the mental fortitude to get down and put the time in. You're fat? Well, let's see. You don't exercise, you sit on your ass all day, and your diet consists of donuts and Pepsi. And you are complaining? Tell most people that they have to eat right and exercise, and they will tell you that they don't want to or they don't have the time. They would rather waste money on the latest diet pill they saw on TV, or on the book with all the secrets on how to eat donuts and Pepsi and STILL lose weight, instead of actually trying. The same thing goes for all of those bogus supplements out there. Every day someone else is buying this garbage and even worse, actually believing that it will have a drastic effect on their appearance.

Steroids fall right into this category. People want all of the muscle without working for it. Some people do not have the guts to get in the gym and do what it takes to build muscle and strength; they would rather do nothing and get the results. Well, to me that is a joke. If there was a safe way to build muscle without training, I would still train. One of my main interests is strength training, and I get a lot of fulfillment from the feeling of making progress every week, and from knowing that I am working twice as hard as 99 percent of the people in the world will ever work in their lives. I am sure that many of the people reading this are the same way, but we are the minority. For every one of us that loves to squat until we vomit, there are a hundred who would never voluntarily attempt such a feat if their life depended on it...because it's too hard. They would much rather take the easy way out by using steroids. Health concerns aside, would you really feel proud of all of the muscle that you have built if you got it through a syringe? I know I wouldn't. It's a question of character.

Is it easier to just take drugs? Yes. Is it worth it in terms of your character and your health? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Like Bob's slogan says: "BUILD MUSCLE THE OLD FASHIONED WAY...EARN IT!"

Someone pointed something interesting out the other day. They mentioned when you drive by a highschool how skinny all the guys are. A large part of that is the girdle in the chest/clavicle area. It naturally widens with age. Mine widened all the way up to 24! I would not have wanted to have stunted that at all!
If I was 20 I would be spending my money taking all those hot girls in that age group out and trying to get some action!

I guess its hard to tell someone who's 20 that they're too young. I'm 22 and I did my 1st cycle of prohormones at 20 and I wish I hadn't - I was still growing (from 6'3" to 6'6" in 2 yrs) I stopped there - I know I'm already tall but another inch or 2 couldn't hurt. The only reason I even tried them was because some fat powerlifter at GNC said they were like legal steroids with no side effects (1-test by t-bomb) - he didn't even mention pct. I'd like to see his fat ass now and give him a piece of my mind. I'm doing my 1st real cycle now because I'm a college athlete and I want to make some $$ so I need a boost now but otherwise I'd wait until 24 or 25, no need to rush into it.

I agree with you 100%!

However, assuming this, no one can logically say you have to be 21 or X age in order to start gear.. its all going to vary on the person.....

You start gear when you think you can handle it and the responsibilities.

are you fucking kiddin me? when i'm ON i work out even harder than when i'm off, because thats how the shit works....the more u put in the more you get in return. i cant shoot a needle in my ass and watch tv and drink pepsi and wake up bigger. i have to LIFT FUCKING WEIGHTS TO GET BIG. on or off, that is how it works. please dont talk shit (or for that matter, plagiarize someone elses bs it looks like) w/out knowing what the fuck you are talking about.

I'd say 20 is a bit too young. Thats my perspective Because I had to be a really f!@#ing cool kid and start sticking myelf when I was 17. By no means developed fully, wish I could have just taken advantage of the natural benifits, But too late. I havn't noticed any bad effects yet... YET. I understand my spine may be in a world of hurt when I'm older. But as for now I believe I am roughly 3 inches short my natural hight. And due to past ignorance of cycling showing very little for what over $1000 worth of chemicles should have left me looking like. Thats why getting back into now older, I am researching to make sure I know EXACTLY everything I am about to do to myself and how I'll react and what I need. I suggest following this approach if starting a first cycle. But good luck for whatever is decided!
