Iphone 4 jailbroken and unlockable, this could be useful

Ok, I never thought much of Apple's hyped-up, over-priced products. But this may actually make them worthwhile:

First iPhone 4 'jailbreak' posted online - CNN.com

Once a phone has been jailbroken, another set of apps can be used to "unlock" an iPhone. Unlocked phones can be configured to work on wireless networks other than AT&T, which is the only official U.S. carrier for the iPhone.

In the U.S., unlocked iPhones will work on the T-Mobile network, but, because of technical differences, the phone will not work on Verizon or Sprint even if it has been jailbroken and unlocked.

And it may piss Steve Jobs off as a bonus, just think now users can download PORN applications on his precious Iphones, how will he be able to sleep at night.

I just switched to the Droid X today. It looks very promising.

It's funny to me how many habits I developed just to keep my AT&T signal going. I learned to time my calls around dead spots in coverage, so it takes some getting used-to for me to not even think about it anymore.

There's one giant hole in the Android platform... no real Microsoft Office editing support. You can view things, not edit them whatsoever. Documents to go for android blows too.

My GF has the X and I have the Evo4g on sprint

my o-ring is such an efficient one-way valve that I can squeak one out that only dogs can hear after a bowl of cabbage

just sayin'

That's straight off your Craigslist ad!

But at least that one straight thing you've got going.

knot sig worthy :(

compound subject/singular predicate composition resulting in awkward wording

e.g., can PICK3 squeak one out after a bowl of cabbage OR can dogs hear what PICK3 squeaks out after they eat a bowl of cabbage

I noticed that too, but I also assume you're just posting between tricks and prolly need a little time to get cleaned-up too.

Was messing with a friend's android today sending pics out throuh gmail. It is quick and fun to use. Keyboard is accessible and I see why it outsold the Iphone in 2010. It's a fun phone, but yeah, glad JDD pointed out shortcomings, so I don't have to feel bad that I chose just a basic Nokia e71x. Standard smarts, that work for me.

As the saying goes...

"Wow...20 phones on 4 networks outsold 1 phone on 1 network by a bit. Neato."
