Look, her record was 25/13, certainly not as impressive as his 35/4 but I'm sure she'd encountered more than a few guys who didn't give a shit it was a girl or even welcomed the opportunity to beat/dominate a girl so she knew the score.

And something to remember, strength differences between the genders aren't nearly as dramatic before age 18 or so and actually, in early puberty, girls are usually taller and stronger than boys.

No question, pound for pound, men are at least 3x stronger than women when it comes to upper body strength, however, when it comes to leg strength, women can keep up. And most women are naturally more flexible than men, which I'm sure has some benefit in wrestling.

That being said, the fact the boy is home schooled leaves no doubt in my mind he withdrew based on faith.
