THIS LAWSUIT HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE LAST YEAR, AND WE HAVE BEEN VERY QUIET ABOUT THIS.
KARIN'S IS ABOUT A SMALL OF A COMPANY AS YOU CAN BE. NEEDLESS TO SAY THIS HAS PUT AN INCREDIBLE FINANCIAL STRAIN ON US. SO FAR WE HAVE INCURRED THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN LEGAL FEES.

IAD, IS OF COURSE CLAIMING INFRINGMENT. AS IF ANYONE WHO HAS SEEN THE TWO PRODUCTS SIDE BY SIDE WOULD EVER GET THEM CONFUSED.
AT THIS TIME WE ARE HAVING THE PATENT SCRUTINIZED. JUST TO CLEAR UP ANY MISUNDERSTANDINGS,IAD,NOR JOHN INZER DID NOT DEVELOP, NOR WAS GRANTED THIS PATENT IN DISCUSSION ORIGINALLY.

IT IS OUR CONTENTION THAT SINCE IAD WAS AWARE OF KARIN LONG BEFORE THE PATENT EXPIRED, BUT WAITED UNTILL AFTER THE LAST DATE OF THE PATENT 'S EFFECTIVE DATE. WHICH BY LAW CAN BE DONE. NONTHELESS, WE BELIEVE THAT IT WAS NOT UNTIL KARIN'S SHOWED ITSELF TO BE A VIABLE THREAT TO THE LONG ESTABLISHED MONOPOLY, THEN AT THAT TIME WE WERE SUED.
THIS IS ABOUT AS CLOSE TO THE DAVID AND GOLIATH STORY AS CAN BE ACTED OUT IN REALITY.

IT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS AND EMBARRASSMENT THAT I COME TO YOU, OUR EXTENDED FAMILY WITH THIS REQUEST.
WE WANTED TO LET YOU ALL KNOW THERE IS A REAL POSSIBILITY THAT THIS FINANCIAL BURDEN WILL FORCE US INTO A DECISION WE DO NOT WANT TO MAKE.
SO I AM ASKING ANY AND ALL OF YOU WHO WOULD FEEL SO COMPELLED, TO CONTRIBUTE A SMALL AMOUNT OF MONEY EACH, THAT WE WOULD BE ABLE TO CONTINUE TO FIGHT THIS LAWSUIT.
WE BELIEVE THAT WE HAVE AN EXCELLENT TEAM OF LAWYERS WHO ARE GENUINELY EXCITED ABOUT HELPING US. THESE LAWYERS ARE BEING VERY GENEROUS IN THEIR CHARGES, BUT LIKE ANYTHING ELSE , NOTHING GOOD IS FREE.

KARIN AND I READ OVER THE PATENT BEFORE SHE EVER MADE 1 SHIRT, AND WE DO NOT AND DID NOT BELIEVE WE WERE EVER IN VIOLATION OF THIS DISPUTED PATENT.

IAD IS CLAIMING KARIN HAS DONE OVER 700,000.00 IN BUSINESS IN THE LAST THREE YEARS! I WISH! I THINK THIS IS A CLEAR INDICATION OF JOHN INZERS ABSOLUTE LOSS OF THE CONCEPT OF REALITY.

PLEASE PASS THE NEWS AROUND OUR SPORT FREELY, AS I DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO EVERYONE WHO MAY BE INTERESTED IN CONTRIBUTING TO OUR CAUSE.

I have nothing against Inzer equipment at all, but this is BS. If his product is so f'n good, he shouldn't need to run off the competition.

i totally agree spatts. i didn't mean to come off like i was taking up for him. he's trying to become the monopoly in powerlifting apparel and there is no way that is going to happen.

IT IS BAD FOR THE SPORT.....that is why it is a big deal.

If there is no competition between PL gear makers then there is less money and support for competitions, Inzer needs to play the American game and just flood the PLing world with ads and what not, he'd be spending the same kind of money and we would all benefit from the sponsorships the television spots, ect.

Why do you think there is WSM coverage on espn and no powerlifting?

Why is there Bodybuilding and no powerlifting?

B/C there is too much in-fighting over federations and between manufacturers to get a unified sponsor willing to invest real money. WSM has Met-rx, BB has Weider and a slew of others, Powerlifting has Inzer suing Karin's....great

Unfortuneately this is going to be a big black marr on powerlifting. Why can't people understand that competition is good not evil. If other companies don't make products there is no reason for the big companies to make better products. Basic rules of economics too often forgotten in this money hungry world.

I'll chime in and give my opinion. INZER SUCKS! And I won't even touch on what I think of John Inzer himself. It's unfortunate that stuff like this happens.
