I got an investment opportunity for 500k that pays 15% per month return, money sits in attorney escrow so it's safe. You get full balance in 1 year.

I don't have 500k but if u do - i can put you in touch with these people I've known for awhile, I trust them. Just passing along the info. You're on yiour own after that.

My calculations are:
500000*(1.15)^12= $2,675,125
$2,675,125
($500,000)
=$2,175,125 pure profit.

Who exactly are these people and how exactly are they going to make someoneover $2.175Mil in a year with a $1/2mil principle?

no it's 15% return per month or year, i have to check again. Something about getting treasury bills at a discount or something.

per month or per year makes a huge difference bor.
per year is 500000*1.15=575000
$75K profit.
 
cleary you are getting some benefit from this or you wouldn't waste your time selling us on it. fill us in on what your cut is out of this and we'll be more prone to believe it's legit. you said it was something to do with treasury bonds? you aren't getting anywhere near 15% on that over 1 year. you'd be hard pressed to get half of that on a bond, and it'd be for far more than 1 year.

i develop internet technology for one of the partners for patent & resale (social commerce & video asset management). I believe it's 15% per year.

no i don't get nothing out of it. zippo, zilch. They have one opening so thought i'd post it.

sounds more like a VC opportunity which wouldn't be fully guaranteed. if the money is just going to sit in an escrow how is it going to offer any return?
 
Since everyone on EF probably has half a mil laying between the cushions of their sofas this investment should be cake.

I would have been skeptical of an escrow-safe deal offering 6% per year, let alone 15%.

Yes but always always do your due diligence. So many people never do regardless .. "investing money" is not extinct.

These offers are all over the scammy internet sites. People claiming you can buy at a discount and resell next day. Problem is, anyone holding t-strips can have their banker sell at full value. So, who the hell is selling at a discount?

Last year, when New Flyer Industries was trading just over $6, they were paying a monthly cash dividend that was almost 16% annually.

Still paying over 8% and have paid almost 60 months straight.

You can do all the research you want but an attorney just released early from prison, having served two of a five year sentence, was from a prominent family, was on the city council and highly respected in the community; There were no red flags.
 
Awww shit...... I gave my lsat saved $500k to a guy in Nigeria who's dying and wants to send me a couple millions to do great things with his money, when I get those millions I'll contact you..... I'll also contact that UK electronic lottery I won...

Fuck that. I can make 15% weekly (Actually more). I'm buying milk directly from the processor at $1.49 a gallon.

Huge markup on milk. 2%, skim, and chocolate.
 
They got some rich ass h'wood people who are now making their 15 per year so they're set. Not an awesome return, but unless you want to go high-risk, those are the returns u get.

A couple thousand gallons a week.

Actually, I had an idea to start a new dairy farm here and also make my own yogurt, cheese, and cottage cheese. I have 500 acres of flat land nearby.
