Interesting warning to UK Bros

riverrock said:
Hello All,

Quite a number of Bros on this Board are from The UK like myself. Well, I also use the UK Board Muscletalk where I also log in as riverrock. Anyhow, one Bro made a particularly interesting point. He said that all UK Steroid users should order their pins off the internet. Why, you may ask?

First of all, AAS is a Class C drug here, meaning that its okay to have a personal supply (Reasonable gear usage within 3 months) Anything else is deemed to be possession in order to supply and that is a criminal offence. If you want pins, you go to the needle exchange who give you all the pins you need. Now, whats my beef with that?

Well, if everyone gets their pins off the needle exchange, then the statistics will point the government at an alarmingly high number of AAS users in the UK, this may then lead to a review of the existing legislation, and may result in an American style crackdown on AAS use. This is a very valid point and one we should consider.

That's funny considering that the UK is the Socialist country and the US is supossed to be the beakon of freedom. It's more of a catch phrase now than the truth and things like this just prove it.

*Shakes head in hands*

Well guys I don't know what it's like in the UK but here in Canada we can just walk in any Pharmacy with our empty syringe package and they can order you a box of a 100 pins for the next day, they just take the product number from the package and reorder the exact same ones. Have you guys ever tried that or is that a bad idea.

If needle exchange programs keep junkies from sharing their needles and their diseases and keep us tax payers from having to put out 50 grand a year to pay for their HIV meds, then I'm all for it.

That said, pins are so cheap, I don't understand why a normal person wouldn't just order over the net.

reminds me of something I read a few years ago: "the US has freedom in theory, but not in practice, the UK has freedom in practice, but not in theory".

As I mentioned in a different thread, America is a great country with great people. Britain is also a great country and I love our people. Its just a shame that in America their AAS laws are so severe. BB's are not criminals but the laws clearly identifies AAS as a criminal offence - wft
