Interesting HCG observation today...

Today I decided to do a little experiment...

The girl I am "seeing" is about 10 days late on her period (not extremely uncommon for her...) So today she took a home pregnancy test...
After about 2 minutes the results were in...Not pregnant...

(anyway me knowing that the test checks only for HCG levels in the urine I decided to see if I could "alter" the results)...
I had 1000 IU of premixed HCG that had been in my refirgerator for the past 3 1/2 weeks...I shot it all onto the strip (mind you she urinated on it about 2-3 minutes prior)...Well after waiting a few more minutes the results did not change...(no HCG was detected )
What does this mean you ask? Well nothing definitively...as the result of her negative may have already blown the test thus rendering my HCG useless...OR it could be that even refirgerated HCG was not potent enough (or had expired) after only 3 1/2 weeks...

My guess is the test was rendered useless after the results were initially in...But it did make me wonder (as the debate on how long HCG is good for has always gone back and forth...)

I believe those tests are a one-time-use products - once they register either yes or no, they're gone. Why didn't you just use another strip?

That's what I was figuring...LOL, I do have one more test (I bought the 3 pack ), but something tells me she is going to need it again soon

That's what I was figuring...LOL, I do have one more test (I bought the 3 pack ), but something tells me she is going to need it again soon

stop shooting loads inside her unless you want a kid yo. my girl just had a miscarriage, it is an emotional experience if it is something you dont expect.
