Ok, after 7 months of hassling me and my wife trying to get out of paying for our garage fire they finally agree to pay.
I sent them copies of the invoices as follows
$9500 for the garage reconstruction
500 for temporary cover for garage
2376 carpet
336 electriciann
-------
$12,712
I just got the check and it is for $10,866 what a bunch of allstate crap. Man, I don't see how these people stay in business. No support how he got the number and now he is gone on vacation for a week. The check says for pymt for dwelling coverage for fire loss on 4/3/05. Does it hurt to go ahead and deposit or does that release them for any further monies?
Why would the payment be so much less. Do they take deprecian on rebuilds and carpet replacment. Man, am I pissed.
