Of course this could be prevalent among diabetics that do not watch all their levels like they are supposed too. But how common is this among bodybuilders that use insulin? Are all top tier pros insulin dependent by the end of their careers?
Joe D who was a member on here a few years back was in his mid to late 30's and huge.. 5 5 240ish. he used insulin + was huge for his height. and he became a diabetic.
would he have become a diabetic if he was 5 5 160 and didn't touch insulin? highly highly highly unlikely.
its not just the insulin use, its also the mass on the body that insulin helps you achieve since it is a nutrition partitioner. mass is mass.. whether it is fat or muscle looks different in the mirror but its still mass. lets say you took insulin, even short acting, twice a day.. you would be nutrition partitioning for many hours and whatever you ate would be getting stored like a magnet.. think about that. AAS does the same thing but nothing like that.
