Insomnia, oh how I hate thee

I luv sleepin 3-4 hrs max and waking up every hr of that


who else is sleep phucked

I am but for a large part it's self induced. Like Fri night's many hour bender at the bar. Of course that's going to throw off your sleep cycle.

Got to practice good sleep hygiene, e.g., waking up every morning at the same time (even on the weekends) and staying active in the daylight hours (especially in the winter due to Seasonal affective disorder (SAD))

And of course pharmaceuticals can induce sleep, but there's nothing like natural REM cycle sleep.

With all this being said ... do like I say, not like I do :)
 
lol...I never sleep past 7 am...and its usually 6 am


but yeah...I should be outside more, tough to do when its freezing and ya dont like the cold

Better yet...wake your spouse and kids to keep you company. Do this every few hours.


That way, I can hear about some frigid, insomniac bitch wife on another board that I 'm on. :D
 
I've suffered from insomnia for going on 18 years now. Just pretty much used to it at this point. I've tried every non-prescription remedy there is and nothing works. Not willing to start regulating any body function with medication so that's not an option for me.

I wake up to be at 3am ish
fall back asleep quickly
wake up at 4,5 and fall back to sleep swiftly get up at 6 lately

I've never dealt with insomnia, best of luck
smoke some weed :D
 
it's not all that bad. when you finally do get to sleep it feels soooooooooo good. kinda like when you're really hungry, food seems to taste better. not that I have ever gone more than an hour without eating. :whatever:
 
depends on my hrs.. my work shifts vary with the seasons

when i work mornings and wake at 430 am, i never get more then 5 hrs sleep.. i cant fall out before 12 or 1 am.. no matter what

when i work the night shift i can sleep all fucking day and sleep like a baby

I get a solid 8 hours EVERY night. I could easily do 10 hours/night.
 
You should look into delta sleep inducing peptide or GHRP @ 100mcg sub-q before bed. this will solve all your problems. you can't grow if you can't get enough rest! It's just as important as how much u eat

I get a solid 8 hours EVERY night. I could easily do 10 hours/night.

I'm the same - well kind of, I make it until 10 or 10:30 then I'm done. I get up at 5 or 6 depending on if I teach a class in the morning. The idea of not being able to sleep is so foreign to me.
 
I go through cycles. I have been pretty good for the past few weeks. The second I get off my cycle it is hell though. I force myself to go to bed before midnight. Last night I didn't and I woke up at 5 with crazy dreams and then it was over.

I stay away from ambien and everything else now unless I have something real important the next day. Not getting sleep sucks because I am a zombie the next day. OTC stimulants keep me going through the day.

Sucks.
 
most i heard about not sleeping since freddy kruger hit the box office 80's/90's
