I get crazy back pumps while on. On DL day I have to lay down on a flat, hard floor in between sets just to try and stay loose. On the drive home I get just locked up and spend the rest of the day trying to find a comfortable way to sit/stand.
Well I thought that was bad until today.
I can only think God hates me, or that there is some bad karma out there that is catching up to me.
I decided at the last minute today to make it a speed DL and squat day. You know to sort of mix things up. I was working with about 60% 2RM and doing 8 sets of 3.
In all of my wisdom, I thought "You know, you haven't done sumo DL's for a while. Now would be a great time!" Same gig as above about 60% 2RM 8x3.
I have discovered my Gracillis muscles in a new way. You know the ones I'm talking about. If not, they're the ones often associated with a "groin injury", or hurt if you try and do the splits and feel like long ropes that go from either side of your sack to just behind the knee.
Let me tell you that they too can get a fucking awful pump to them. I can't sit, stand, or walk without knowing their exact location and how they are being incorporated into that particular movement of my leg.

I swear that pumps while on are fucking insane. Maybe it is the tax you have to pay for going to the show.
