Injection Gone bad?

Hey guys,

I did a deltoid injection Tuesday, and my whole shoulder down to my elbow is swollen, red, and warm to the touch. It was painful first 2 days.

When I injected I swapped needles, wiped injection site with alcohol, and aspirated. Shot nice and slow, then pulled out. However after I pulled the needle out I had some blood and oil come gushing out. Wasn't a lot but it wasn't something that has happened my last 12 injections.

Pain has subsided but its been 4 days and its still red and swollen. My right arm looks like a balloon, while my left one is chiseled and veiny lol. Should I go see a doc?

goddamn....that sucks. how many ml did you pin?

I've never heard of that type of swelling that bad before. do you have a fever? do you feel like you have the flu? do you feel achey all over?
its wierd that the pain subsided but the swelling is still present. that makes me think the pain part was just pip. You definatley need to see a doc but I think the fact that the pain is gone is a good sign.
did the pain radiate down the whole arm? how long after your pin did it start to hurt? how long before it swelled up?

No no fever, don't feel achy, and pain wasn't like unbearable or anything. Redness has reduced just slightly pink. Still soar to the touch and bloated looking. I feel fine. I think i will just wait till Monday and see if it has gotten any better.

Is this your first ever AAS cycle? The reason I ask is I have seen people have allergic reactions.

First cycle, but the gear is good, I've pinned before. Just wondering if I should get this checked out. Maybe the gear leaked out from muscle and went under skin?

Hey Oat. I just joined and after I saw your post, had to reply. I just went through the exact same thing last saturday. My left delt was extremely sore after inject, and also became red and swollen. I was a little freaked out too, but like u, no fever, not achey or anything, so I posted on pro muscle and guys said most likely oil didnt get directly into muscle and was left unabsorbed, and thats what caused irritation, but eventually my body would absorb it. They were right! I was sore and swollen almost a week though, so I wouldn't worry bro, just hang tough. Hope I put your mind at ease.
