Injecting air?

remove 23 g, draw w/18g and over draw a but of air so you dont lose any in the pin, replace 23, plunge until 1 or 2 drops lube the pin, then all is well.

I love drawing with a 18g pin!!! Works perfect!

The way an air bubble can cause you a real problem, and basically the only way, is if it's big enough to fill a ventricle of your heart. Air is compressable so if the ventricle is full of air when the heart beats it just compresses the air and stops pumping blood. If it was a water pump you would say it has lost it's prime. And we are talking a lot of air. About 7 to 10 cc of air into the heart all at once to fill the ventricle.
