i heard mike meyers had a bit part in it as an old general or somethin. gotta see it. big fan of the tarantino stuff....
small part but funny scene. dialogue as good as if not better than jackie brown.
pretty cool start actually. the "bad" german investigator is introduced in a great tarantino manner.

In the UK, Orange mobile phone provider has a deal running with all major cinemas where on a Wednesday you get a free ticket if you own an Orange phone (they text you promotional code). Nice when tickets here cost you $15 each.

Oh man I saw Inglorious Basterds yesterday with the missus & it kicked arse, best flick I've seen at the cinemas this year. That multi-lingual German colonel totally made the movie.

This movie isn't even in jackie brown's league. The movie started out with potential but just got worse and worse and worse. The last hour of the movie was retarded. Brad Pitt's character was almost as bad as the character in that cohen bro's movie which was also rubbish. The only bright spot's of the movie were the german broad and the jewish girl. I wish I would have seen district 9 instead.

I got dragged to see it by 4 of my friends. I will admit that it was better than I thought it was going to be, but that's because I thought I was going to walk out after 30 minutes. I really liked the first hour or so of the movie. It was like a half written story. The last half of the movie was either so poorly edited or just not well written period. Pitt's character is absolutely ridiculous. The one dude from the "basterds" who had promise, this psychotic german, they killed him off in a dumb ass bar shootout without him ever having done any real cool shit. Big let down.

That was a minor disappointment for me as well.
Still a great flick though
the slow motion rock scene of the Aryan-looking Wermacht sergeant walking towards Pitt is pure Tarantino lol.

the best part of the movie was the two dudes jumping the german guards with those wrist pistols. Other than that I was pretty "meh" about it. THe opening scene with messiuer la patite was very very very well done and that made me think this was going to be a great movie. Not really sure how Q let the movie degenerate so badly towards the end.

I started watching it from the scene where they shoot that guy in the nuts and I had to watch the rest. It was really good from what I saw.
