infection or bad injection?

took a shot monday morning, by tuesday it was pretty painful...the first three weren't. a little pinkish, slightly warm and a little itch, not much though...wednesday the pain was all gone, swelling was gone...still a little warm but not hot by any means. pinkness is less i think, but there's still a slight itch. what's the call? no pain or swelling as of now.

i'd say you are fine, just keep an eye on it and see if it starts getting worse

massage the area and get a heating pad. Heat and massage.

Nothing to worry about most likely. I had an injection site get all red and swollen, thought I was going to form an abscess but it went away all on its own. It happens some times. An abscess would not get better without treatment, only worse.
