Go to see a doctor asap!!!I had this happen to me.Shot in my left quad and 2 days later the area became inflamed.Started to hurt and felt very warm to the touch.I was also limping.I worked with A girl going to nursing school and showed her my leg.she suggested going to hospital right away.I waited till next day and went.SURE ENOUGH,quad had a infection that worked its way under the muscle.They put me on a IV drip with meds and had to do some painful injections deep to the bone to remove water that filled up.I was up front with the doctors who gave me the speach about steroids.Dont know the cause for sure of infection.They said gear could have been dirty(i was using a ug lab whom i wont name)or i was not disinfecting injection site well enough.Not getting everything sterile enough can cause problems.After that I was on Antibiotics for ten days.i healed and am fine now.Go see a doctor right away.Be honest as they are not stupid.Good luck
