No offense but, I watched that whole thing pretty closely. . .I believed then and I still believe now that Indy was guilty of nothing more than hanging with the wrong person. If that was a crime, I'm pretty sure I would have spent a little time in the big house over the years. . .people are very complex. . .they can fool you.

Are you married or have a significant other? If so, DON'T EVEN tell me that your wife/fiance/girl friend or whatever approves of all of your friends. My wife thinks most of my friends are goofball/hoodlum/jerk-offs and, to be honest, some of them are but, when the chips are down, very few of them wouldn't step in front of a gun for me and I for them.
