This technology is EVIL!!!!! imagine what will happen when it falls in the wrong hands: Coldblue calling everybody asking for K, needto organizing a confcall to discuss his issues with Angel, Hammy having a K meeting with the stakeholders, Sorearms and myself on the phone with Affirmative Action, Perk having multi-tranny phone-sechs!

Since people like to talk on the phone with other members, why pay for the long distance or the minutes or people who dont want to give out their phone number?
When you can add skype voice chat to vbulletin and integrate it. A FREE EF phone system

SkypeWeb allows the online status of Skype users to be viewed on web pages, and fits very nicely with vBulletin.

SkypeWeb integration will be a standard feature of the next release of vBulletin, but should you wish to gain SkypeWeb functionality on your vBulletin 3.5.3 board right away, you need simply to download the product XML file attached to this thread and install it through the product manager in your vBulletin Admin Control Panel.

Installing the next version of vBulletin when it is released will automatically remove this update product and replace it with SkypeWeb functionality from the default code and templates, so no further action will be required on your part.

Thanks, I mentioned it to George a few months ago and he said it was an excellent idea too and he'd look into it. I am not sure what version of Vbulletin they are running but itd be a great feature. I wouldnt mind skyping with people but hesitant on giving out a phone number.

I love Skype, I wish more people knew of it. THere are few limitations, you can talk to anyone in the world for free.
There are excellent products to help out too.

There is a phone wizard that for 50$ bucks makes your regular phones skype ready, there is a phone call center so you can call and connect from any phone to your skype system.

You can call from a wifi cafe, in Portland the whole downtown is free wifi service.

There is so much cool stuff to do with skype, no contracts, no fees, nothing but a simple one minute download and pick a username(s), all free.

Literally never have to worry about a large long distance bill again, most people have computers nowadays and highspeed internet so why pay to use the phone companies network? I screwed up on international calling on my cellphone and said never again after I got that bill, I still use my cellphone but the one I bought had skype preloaded on the system. This is the coolest thing since sliced white bread

Hopefully one of the Big Three sees this, its already on the second page

Been looking at it already. The "just drop it in" bit is a little exaggerated due to all the customization we've done here but yeah, I like Skype plenty.
