Importing prescriptions from online pharmacies. Is it legal?

Just curious...A few months ago, I placed an order for a few things from an online pharmacy. I did not have a doctor's prescription for the drugs, however they are completely legal in America.

I received the package today saying it had been inspected by the FDA and forwarded to me. There was other cautionary wording on the envelope that has me paranoid. ("Despite your receipt of this shipment, further importations may be refused admission into the USA.")

Even though the drugs were forwarded to me (and I signed for them), could the government eventually come back and prosecute me for buying drugs online without a doctor's prescription? If so I am never going to one of these places again!!

Sorry I was under the impression this forum was about steroids and other DRUGS. I assumed someone here had knowledge of buying these things online...and the legality of it.

Doubt you have anything to worry about. If they were going to do something, chances are it would have already been done. They've got alot more stuff to worry about than small purchases which I assume you made.

Just curious as to why you ordered drugs that are legal in America? Just because they're legal doesn't mean that you don't need a Dr's Rx to possess them.

I suggest you mail bomb your local postal service and pour 1 bottle of pancake syrup into your car's gas tank.
