Umm, I thought I should just mention that I got an email from a company advertising its product.
It was pretty interesting so I clicked on it, and followed it.
Apparently, if I am a member of EF, I get a discount. So I go for the discount, and it says to enter your EF password and login.
My question is:
Is this legit.
Please, mods, don't kick my ass. I try to read more than I post, but I didn't find anything about this.
I will only send the advertisement copy to a moderator.
It could be nothing, but better safe than sorry.
BY THE WAY, I didn't order anything from them due to this question.
Last of all, its probably a good idea for dudes not to give out their EF login and password unless they know who it is that is collecting the information. The email I got looked like an "official" email, but the website was not ELITE FITNESS, it was some other company.
Anyway, worst case scenario, this could be a good reminder.
Call me paranoid. I've been called worse.
