I'm Very Offended and Pissed Off

There's this girl I know from highschool who I've seen a few times about a month ago. I havnt talked to her much but today she tells me that I'm a dork and alot of people think that also. She wouldnt tell me names which pisses me off. She said Im corny and I cannot dress. I mean she was flat out rude about the whole thing.

I just dont get it. Im nice to most people and never start trouble with anyone. All my friends know Im a great person and Im not bragging for the sake of having something to say. I agree I wasn't the center of coolness when I was in highschool but is that all people will ever see you as years later? I know I've changed alot but to hear these comments, especially as rude as she was is very upsetting. I have no place in my life for someone who is going to judge me on anothers opinion and not give me the time and day. She hardly fuckin new me and she makes these so called assumptions on what others say........

Why do you care so much what these idiots think about you?? You know who you are and that is all that matters. YOu say that she doesn't know you, well obviously she doesnt. You cannot live your life by others opinions. These people obviously are not your friends. I know you said that you don't know who they are, but deep inside, you know who really counts. That is all you need to know. Blow it off and be true to yourself. It is the only way to go, trust me....you can ALWAYS count on yourself, don't doubt yourself.

The people who count will see you for who you truly are. Take this as a life lesson in the way that the majority of people are. You will not be cheated forever and good people will give you a chance.

When I coach, I tell my kids that Confidence is contageouse.
If you are confident and you believe in yourself, it will show and others will believe in you as well.---if you dont believe in you---they will not either and may peg you as an easy taget.


Next time---just look back at her and say, "allright, that's cool--I guess I will see you later--good to see ya."

Act like it does not affect you. You will impress the hell out of folks when you do this.
