It will work. Most of these guys here saying it won't either haven't tried it, or used a 3ml syringe. Doesn't matter if the needle is only 5/8'' if you are lean- if you inject slowly it will dissapate through the fibers and won't form a pressurized pocket of oil, none will leak back out. No scar tissue, zero pain. Bill Roberts advocates using 29g pins for everything, and if there's aproblem with suspension clogging you can solve this by using a 23-25g pin, and drawing up the suspension, then forcefully squirting it back into the vial-it will break down the particles so they will work in a smaller pin. Also, if you are using a 1ml insulin syringe, the smaller surface area of the rubber plunger gives a hydraulic mechanical advantage making it much easier to push the solution through a smaller pin than a thicker 3ml syringe.
