I'm thinking of having a summer car and a winter truck/SUV

6 series is badass. And the luxury market has shit the bed so you can get sweet deals.

i got a great deal on my A4.....car was like 36k and change and they gave it to me for 33ish

they're offering even better deals now. they're covering 3 months of payments....when i got my car in december they only did 1 month

Picking up on 20 year olds doesn't even almost sound fun to me so that shit never enters my mind. And if I were to target the 19 year old nail school dropout demographic I doubt I'd buy a car to make myself look better for them.

God you are depressing bor

I just bought a goddamn house so probably not gonna go and get me a new audi. In the end, cars are a depreciating asset, so not gonna throw a ton of $$ out there on em.

Depreciation on Audis is brutal. I was just looking at the used value of my present car, a VW GTI, and its retail value at two years old is still within a grand and a half of what I paid for it, new. I've NEVER been upside down in it. I thought only Hondas and Acuras held their value like that. Another car I considered at the time was the Audi A3, but turned it down because it was $4K more than a similarly equipped VW. The Audi's retail value now is less than the trade-in value of my VW.

I think the summer car/winter car thing has merit. If you're looking for a gay girlie car, consider the Mazda Miata. It's small and cute, economical to run, holds its value well, and most importantly, if you can get past the Fire Island image, it's great to drive, with wonderful handling.
