I'm proposing this weekend!

I will be graduating in may 06 with a masters and maybe prosuing my Ph.d later but taking a year or so off and finding a job and ready to settle down... im going to propose to my girlfriend of 3 and a half years this weekend.. We've been living together for almost 2 months now and everything is going great!!

keep the h8 of this thread.. it's only good! :)
 
im the last guy on earth who should be giving longterm relationship advice, but dont most ppl live together for more than 2 months before dropping the bomb? clearly you've made this choice already, but it seems like the first couple months are like "awesome, we're living together, this is fun!" then it slowly turns into "man how many times does this bitch have to piss in a day and leave her hair in the bathtub after showers"... and if you can put up with stuff like that, then you get married.

Congrats on the Masters.

I am not going to hate on you. But, please don't stop school, get a job, engaged etc. All my friends that did this...wish they would have went back. (because they never did)

If at all possible...Get your Phd!...then you can get engaged to your gf. (or get a better one, because you will be making more $)lol

maybe so but we will prolly wait a year or so before getting married so we'll still be living together and if stuff does go bad we will fix it or break it off before marriage. but yes anything could still happen u just never know.. she's a clean freak and i just built this house and the bathroom is pretty much all seperate, 2 closets, 2 sinks, one shower :worried: but a whirlpool too so everything is seperated well so not a lot of sharing

i really want to get it but im not quitting school for her.. doing it for me im a little strapped for cash right now due to stupid decisions in vegas and just built my first house so it costs a lot more then i expected lol..

the masters was a pain in the ass can't imagine the phd :worried:

im outta here for good now... this site has gone downhill with all the karma whoring and fags... a lot of good people on the site but sadly there are lots of fags too... it was fun while it lasted but i got more important things to do..
