I'm pretty disturbed about something (seriously)

he had a verbal arguement with Tom Truitlen on the weight training forum about HST.
Tom, who is still in high school, resorted to name calling and dragged my name into it.
but wnt2b was banned for verbally retaliating and his posts were deleted and then he was banned.
That forum has basically ONE female poster- me. along with one who rarely posts (quadsweeps sister).
banning him was a surefire way to ensure i'm not going to post there anymore either- which sucks considering that i think both of us have a pretty good wealth of knowledge between us. (some of you know that i'm more than just a casual lifter).
Please pm the mod who banned him, whom i believe to be 'casualbb' and ask him to revert that, or go post on the training forum to have that reversed. the kid, tom truitlan was not banned, although he posted really offensively.

I lova ya to death, but you need to take a deep breath and a step back, and think about it. It looks to me like w2bbeast had a bit of a meltdown. It happens. Hopefully the banning will give him some time to cool off and he can email digger or someone in a few days and things will go on as usual.

well said. I think they both are great contributors on that forum. I think TT does come off as arrogant sometimes, but you need to take it with a grain of salt. I didn't read all the threads, but I am guessing beast got pissed cause TT insulted someone he cares about, which is understandable.

That's the thing right there. The guy is plenty knowledgeable on the subject. The problem is that when someone posts something he doesn't like, he insults the entire thread and everyone on it. If he keeps that up, people will stop taking him seriously.

I don't blame SP or the bombers. The bombers were influenced by a force that was too powerfull for them to resisit. In fact, this whole situation is caused by one thing!! I blame SP's large beautifull breasts. Her breasts are just too much to be handled on the testosterone filled training board.

Haven't read the whole thing, but I can see managements position re: mentioning other boards. This is a business, and I appreciate that it needs to be run as one.

That said I dont think the comments are indicative of wnt2bbeasts ebahvior on the boards. He's a great guy, always willing to help others with his considerable knowledge and advice, and just a basically decnt good natured and funny orb. I sincerely hope the banning is temporary.

If someone was talking trash about someone we cared aboyt, whether it be freind or otherwise, most of us would have lost our temper and perhaps said some things we may have regretted later. I think thats the case here, and should be taken into consideration

I would like to ask ya'll to keep the bombing off of the more serious boards. I know that there was a heated argument, and things were said that shouldn't have been said, but those blacked out posts screw up the board. You have every right to use bombs as you see fit, but I think that it would be better if you used them on spammers, source posts, and the like, not because things got heated. If things get out of hand and you feel like someone is attacking you I would rather have you contact a mod.

For those of you who say that this is the reason that you don't post on the training board, remember, you are the ones who make up the membership. If you want to see it go in a different direction you have to participate.

i personally disagree with banning over arguements anyway- thats what closing threads are for...and once a thread is closed then all arguements should be taken to PMs, and i suppose SUSPENSIONS could be given out if people take the arguement all over the forum because the issue only belongs in the thread it started in.

i also find it rediculous for everyone to be dissing on in age. sure im saying that cause im young, but unless your like 8, i dont think age invalidates someone as a valueable member of a community.

EDIT: misread your concluding sentence... if tom wasnt banned i dont think anyone should be. even though i do feel that wnt2b did start the harshness, thats the first time iv ever seen him act like that and his contributions definately outway this one little incident

this is only my second year but an example that still doesnt really explain it is that we dont have cuts at my school (anyone who doesnt wrestle varsity is on JV but everyone practices together)...but 50 of the toughest kids at the school came out for the team this year, and after the first week we had 30 left...now we have around 20 as the season is coming to a close. takes alot of heart and dedication

The main issue here was that by and large people resorted to vigilante justice

Sugarplum, god bless her, reported one of Tom's posts. Unfortunately none of the mods got there in time, and I take a lot of personal responsibility because it went down on my turf and TT is one of the posters I'm closer to.

However, nobody else reported any posts, PM'ed me, etc etc. Just bombing. If a mod had gotten there halfway through that thread, the worst that would have happened is a couple of fiery tempers would have had to cool themselves over time.

Have faith in the system, people! The mods are here to help.
