I'm not betting anymore!!!!

speaking of betting...i bet 300 K for 2 bets...and won both bets...so i assumed id get 600 K for each bet...but instead i get 300 K total...so even though i WON both bets i net -300K. What the hell? how do i go get my damn K that is owed to me? or is swole stalling? :rolleyes:

i don't fully understand how the point spreads work either...but i assume that if i bet 600 K on 2 bets, and WIN both bets...that i should at least get over 600K...instead of getting 300 k. how could i lose 300 K for winning 2 bets? that just doesn't make sense at all. :rolleyes: REVOLT! :evil: :bigbuck:

it depends. If it you bet 100K and it was 1.0 then you get 100 back. If it was 0.50 you win 50K. If it was 2.0 you win 200K and so on

and regarding betting odds, lets use an example
if you see something like this

Yankees .41
Royals 1.81

That means that for every 100 you bet on the Yankees, you'll win 41, so at the end you'll have 141

For every 100 you bet on the royals, you win 181 so at the end you have 281.

The team with the lowest pay out is the favorite to win. The odds are sometimes given in fractions too, 15/17 or 3/8. Sometimes there are aslo point spreads, +1.5 - 1.5, if you bet on the team with -1.5 that means they are down 1.5 points/runs at the begining of the game and must win by two or more in order for you to win.

i heard notre dame got lucky last week but who knows. its hard to predict this early in the season. but i still would go with mich...

exactly...so even if my odds were, lets say, .1 i'd still have to get 10K + my 300 original donated K for the bet. So even if it was just .1 i should have 620 K right now...rather than 300 back :rolleyes:
