because your fat from all those heavy squats!

;)

LOL, I'm fat from poor diet. I doubt squatting heavy causes me to retain fat. If so, guess I'll stay a fat man, but a strong, fat man.

BTW, what is that hokey pokey thing they got the newbs doing on the 45° leg press? Do they call that exercise ankle warmers?

You dont get fat from heavey squats, you burn a rediculous amount of cals. As for personal trainers, I'd say it depends on how much you are willing to do your own research and how much disposable income you have. I wouldn't bother with it because I know what i'm doing for the most part. The people who i see using their whole body to do a curl however, could use a PT to show them proper form and technique. These guys are more likely to injure themselves than anything. As for mary, tredmill with a twinkie in front of it, thats all the PT she's gonna need for a while.

Ahhhhh, I missed this place!

Im gonna go do some tricep kickbacks and balance board squats while holding a ball above my head. I dont want to get fat.

lol do you go to the same gym as i do!?

the other day i saw the owner teaching this skinny guy deads. everything was ok except he that didn't deweight the bar... but that's ok considering he had on 2 dimes!

I hope to God but two times you don't mean two plates of 10 on each side. I know everyone starts somewhere on their and I have no room to run my mouth on Squats or a Press but Dead Lifting? I was lifting trap bars for a few weeks and then gave a Dead Lift with a barbell a go and maxed out on 315.

By the way, he has his employee on a progam that involes Dead Lifting in the Smith Machine which I don't get. Maybe I'm just too new to this. Maybe I should just give in and welcome our new Smith Machine OverLords.
