They're called Cane Corso's. Ultimate guard dog. Wife said yes. I'm so happy!
 
my parents' neighbor has one of the blue ones. its over 100lbs already and is only like 10 months old. are you getting two at the same time?
 
Those dogs are bad ass and powerful. I bred razors edge pits for many years and have met 2 different breeders for these dogs. They're huge! Great choice and start the training from day one as a pup. They're in the power breed of K9's and need to be put in their place and taught early on that you and your family are above him in the hierarchy.

Love those dogs, was my second choice after the Neapolitan Mastiff since it's the buff version of them :p

Yep. I'm getting a male and female. I already have an 8 x 48 ft kennel built. So excited.

getting two of them as puppies and raising them could be a challenge.
 
I've raised and bred boxers which are much smaller but generally more hyper. My dogs have been great. I will seek professional training help though. I'm not taking any chances.

Thats kinda the point. They are scary.

A few years ago my wife called me at work. She asked if we were late on the house payment. I said no, why? She said some guy came to the door and said the bank sent him to look at our house to make sure it was occupied cause we are late. My wife said the whole thing was suspicious.

But here's the thing. My two boxers and the boxer we were dog sitting came unglued when he knocked on the door. My wife spoke to him through a 2 inch crack in the front door as our dogs growled and barked the whole time. She said he was obviously afraid. which he should have been.

I called the bank. They didn't send anyone.

I think I'm going to get one. Then once its trained I'll get the other. I was going to get both at the same time. But the more I think about it the more it seems better to train them individually.

good call. I've got two APBTs and they're stubborn enough as it is. couldn't imagine trying to train them at the same time.
 
They grow up to 170 lbs? Sheeezus. AKC says they are a balance of power and athleticism.

What would one of these bad boys from good stock run ya?

Good call. I don't answer the door for anyone, ever (even if I know them, unless it's my sister or neighbor Terri) if they haven't called first. It's not safe anymore.

I don't know enough about dogs. That dog would be bigger than me. I also have a small child.

About $2000 to $2500 each. That's for family companions. $3500 for breeders or show dogs. I don't intend to breed them. I'll have the female spayed. I'll let the male keep his nutz and pimp him out as a stud.

To much work and responsibility raising these dogs for sale.
 
Wow thats really cool bro. I wish we could have one of those big ass dogs, my girls love dogs but we already have 2 dogs.
